He already had several of his initial shots from his excellent breeder. Dr. Wood only had to give Andy one shot, and did not try to up-sell us on shots he didn't need. As she gave the shot, her staff member held a Kong toy filled with cheese wiz to distract Andy and it worked very well. He didn't even flinch.
Dr. Wood and her staff were fantastic. We brought our new puppy golden retriever, Andy, in for his first vet visit. The staff were very engaging and friendly with us. Dr. Wood got down to the ground to pet and greet Andy, making him immediately happy and comfortable.
We just moved to the area and were looking for a new vet. We found this place and decided to try it out. Very happy with our experience here. The veterinarian, techs and office administrator were very friendly, professional and well informed.

After his check up, Dr. Wood patiently answered all of our questions regarding training and raising a good dog. Once we were all done, she sent us out with a free heartworm med for the month. Total cost of our visit was just $100.
Dr. Wood and her staff are the BEST! They are knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced! Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!
